Description: This saree is hand painted with Mithila art on handwoven ghicha silk fabric. The painting on the saree is unique and represents artists vision of natures bounty love and good luck through fish motifs, signifying serenity, peace and love. The aanchal and paar is decorated with subtle red, green, blue and yellow leaf motifs with beautiful fish design.

Mithila or Madhubani art originates from the Mithila region of Indian state of Bihar. The art prominently displays different styles and aspects of nature and scenes and deity from ancient epics.

Ghicha threads, typically coming out from pure Tussar silk threads, are processed for dying and offers the natural texture for an exceptional sensational weaving.  Ghicha sarees are incredible part of the story of Bhagalpuri weaving tradition and incarnates beauty, brilliance, grace and elegance.
